In your new role:

• Report directly to the Operations Manager

• Manage and mentor a team of up to 6 at any one time, ensuring standards are met consistently

• Frequently liaise with Customer Services and Sales departments to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business

• Assign customer sales to transport for delivery, efficiently and cost effectively

• Oversee the deliveries and internal functions of UK operations, inclusive of groupage and full loads

• Ensure KPI targets and deadlines are consistently achieved

• Plan and assign SORs to drivers and confirm booking dates when required

• Create reports and delivery schedules

• Maintain files and records

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years working in a transport planning role

• Must be able to demonstrate a sound geographical knowledge and route planning across the UK

• Some form of management / supervisor experience
