Vickerstock are proud to be exclusively partnering our award winning FMCG client who are seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager to join the team at their Portadown based facility.
You will be joining a well-established company who are genuinely interested in the success of the employees within the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be required to advise on all technical aspects of factory production ensuring all products meet customer and legal requirements.

Your day to day as Technical Manager:
Full responsibility for advising on all technical aspects of factory, ensuring that all products meet customer and legal requirements, particularly for food safety.
Working with factory team to drive continuous improvement.
Reacting quickly to changing circumstances and making decisions based on fact.
Independent of outside influence and not to be swayed by external factors.
Hands on role requiring high organisation and the ability to operate at a high level of autonomy.
Your essential ingredients;
Proven experience as a Technical Manager within Food Manufacturing
Strong management background with experience leading and developing teams
Working knowledge of BRC standard, HACCP, Food Legislation, and Food Hygiene
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills
