Our Client is a large established multi site, engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of of precision defence equipment that incorporates mechancial, electrical, electronic components and advanced software programming. As they are in defence, the business is all based on long term very large secure contracts.

Due to extensive growth and expansion, as well as internal promotions, they have a requirement for experienced Bid Managers to join across two different teams (5 positions in total). One team is more analytical / financial based and the other is less so. Both departments are looking for very commercial individuals with strong bid / costing / pricing experience as a relatively senior level - individuals who have experience in pricing contracts in the 10's of millions.

Although their preference would be towards someone coming from a similar or related industry, they realise that it is limited locally and are therefore open to other industrys across engineering and construction.

Strong communication skills and attential to detail are required.

A relevant 3rd level qualification is preferred however extension Bid experience without this will be considered.
