Louth
Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading global manufacturer of modular solutions, offshore tanks, and bespoke pressure vessels to the Energy, Marine, Infrastructure and Industrial sectors with the recruitment of a BIM Engineer to join their team in County Louth.
Your new role as BIM Engineer
- Develop, manage, and update 3D BIM models for structural, MEP, and other project components.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate resolution before construction commences.
- Maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and quality controls across all project stages.
- Prepare accurate documentation, reports, and updates to support project delivery.
- Provide training and technical support on BIM tools and best practices.
- Ensure models and data are accurate, up to date, and compliant with project requirements.
What you will need to succeed
- 3-5 years' experience in a BIM-focused role within construction, architecture, or engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM platforms.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
