Vickerstock are working in partnership with an industry leading, manufacturing firm based in Cookstown on the appointment of a Buyer.

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for working closely with suppliers, sales, production, transport, accounts and all other departments to ensure an efficient and timely supply of materials.

In your new role:

• Frequently liaise with relevant departments and advise of any issues with materials being on site, on time
• Sourcing new suppliers negotiating best prices, lead times
• Develop and maintain long lasting relationships with suppliers, continually monitoring performance
• Manage the stock for specific areas of the business
• Maintain the supplier non-conformance process
• Ensure all incoming goods are delivered on time
• Cross-check supplier invoices against orders placed
• Provide accurate and timely monthly reports

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working within purchasing
• Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office packages

In return a salary of up to £35,000 plus perks is on offer.
