Vickerstock is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering firm to recruit a CAD Technician for their office in Belfast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing 3D models, detailed working drawings, builder's work drawings, creating schedules, and fabrication drawings. You will work closely with our clients Contracts & Estimating team to deliver projects on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and detailed working drawings.
• Create builder's work drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Produce schedules.
• Collaborate with the Contracts & Estimating team to ensure timely project delivery.
• Communicate effectively to meet client expectations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with 1-2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of BIM stages and clash detection through Navisworks, or a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility and adaptability in handling various tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
• Long-term, knowledge of plumbing and heating would be beneficial, though not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
