Civil Engineer (Drainage)
Vickerstock are delighted to be working alongside a leading local consultancy as they seek to add a Chartered Civil Engineer to the practice. Based in Hillsborough, County Down, this practice has established an enviable reputation for producing innovative design solutions to complex engineering challenges across an unusually diverse range of projects. Operating from a modern office, more akin to what you might expect in the tech sector as opposed to a "traditional" engineering consultancy, this practice has become one of the employers of choice within the local market.
Your new role as a Civil Engineer (Drainage)
You will join a growing infrastructure division who cover a wide variety of schemes including site development works, bridges, marine structures and coastal protection works, public realm infrastructure and retaining structures to name a few. This role will focus primarily on the design of heavy civils infrastructure projects;
What you will need to succeed as a Civil Engineer (Drainage)
A degree in Civil Engineering;
A minimum of 8-year post graduate experience working in a design consultancy;
Chartered with a relevant professional body (ICE preferred);
Project experience in the design of reinforced concrete projects;
