Civil Engineer (Water / Wastewater) | Cork

Vickerstock are working with a recently formed (2021) design consultancy with a newly established Cork office to support in the recruitment of a number of Civil Engineers to bolster this new office. With a strong pipeline of water and wastewater projects across Ireland, this firm are rapidly growing with additional upcoming works in the Middle East.

Your New Role as a Civil Engineer

You'll work alongside the local Technical Director and the wider, Belfast based team, to work on a diverse range schemes - from concept design through to construction support. Projects range from clean water and wastewater treatment to drainage strategies and pumping stations. Responsibilities will include

• Designing water and wastewater infrastructure
• Preparing drawings, technical reports, and calculations
• Supporting tender submissions and project delivery across all stages
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and design teams
• Integrating work with CAD/BIM platforms to meet project requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed as a Civil Engineer

• A degree in Civil (MEng preferred)

• 2+ years' experience in water or wastewater engineering
• Familiarity with relevant design standards
• Software experience (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage) beneficial
