Vickerstock are continuing to assist a leading food manufacturer with the recruitment of an experienced Intake Coordinator to join their busy Goods In department.

If you're experienced in goods-in processes, supplier coordination, and maintaining strong quality and traceability standards - this role offers the chance to play a key part in site operations.
Role Overview
As Raw Material Intake Coordinator, you will manage incoming raw material deliveries, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and traceability requirements. You will oversee documentation, system bookings, and weight checks while supporting efficient and audit-ready goods-in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and schedule supplier deliveries
· Verify delivery documentation (delivery notes, batch codes, health certificates)
· Confirm purchase orders against physical deliveries (weight, cut, specification)
· Escalate shortages, overages, or quality issues immediately
· Ensure accurate system booking for full product traceability
· Support and coordinate intake operatives during goods-in
· Maintain food safety, quality, and compliance standards in the intake area
· Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and email for documentation and communication
Your Profile:
· Experience working within goods-in, intake, or supply chain operations
· Understanding of documentation control and traceability processes
· Strong attention to detail when verifying deliveries and specifications
· Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
· Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
· Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments is advantageous
