Electrical Quantity Surveyor | Hybrid | Co. Antrim

Vickerstock are proud to be working alongside a long standing Mechanical and Electrical engineering company who work across sectors such as Commercial, Education and Healthcare throughout Northern Ireland, ROI and the UK. This company has developed a strong reputation through their ability to deliver on multi-million-pound contracts, Facilities management, and other bespoke MEP projects. Due to demand and contract awards, several Commercial roles have become available including an opportunity for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor.

Your New Role as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, you will oversee the cost management of projects to handover stage. Your day to day will entail, Liaising with clients and subcontractors, negotiation, site measure, review of contract documents, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, agreement of variations and final accounts. Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports, attending both Client and company progress meetings to ensure successful, efficient project delivery.

What you need to succeed

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying OR extensive industry experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience within a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of construction with experience working on NEC3/4 Contracts.
  • Confident on working on Commercial contracts to the value of at least £1 Million.
