In your new role:
You would be the champion for Energy, Environment & Sustainability and will be required to work with all departments within the Group as well as our clients' contractors, suppliers, regulators, the community, and any other stakeholders required to successfully deliver the role

Your Duties:

  • Development, implementation and embedding of an industry leading Energy Management System (EnMS) to manage energy performance, including energy efficiency in compliance with the Contractual and legal requirements (national and EU)
  • Achieving and maintaining ISO 50001 certification including management of all required inspections, audits (internal & external) etc., and continuous improvement measures
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting of energy consumption
  • Monitoring, reporting and approval of all energy related invoices and costs.
  • Lead on energy procurement for Group, providing recommendations to the Executive on the best products available in line with budgets and strategic plans.
  • Development, implementation and tracking of suitable Energy Performance Indicators
  • Lead on the energy efficiency projects.
  • Lead on innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption across the business.
  • Provide the main point of contact with our clients on all energy related matters, including regular meetings.
  • Maintaining ISO 140001 certification including management of all required inspections, audits (internal & external) etc. and continuous improvement measures
  • Management of environmental complaints & incidents
  • Management of noise complaints and noise monitoring surveys and reports
  • Management of effluent discharge licences in accordance with the Local Government

What you need to succeed:

  • Relevant undergraduate Degree (master's degree a distinct advantage)
  • Ability to demonstrate competent knowledge in all role areas i.e., Energy, Environment & Sustainability, (Business Management Systems experience a distinct advantage)
  • Minimum of 6 years post graduate experience in industry (Management experience is a distinct advantage)
  • Leadership experience and proven ability to deliver outstanding standards in the areas of Energy, Environment & Sustainability
