Vickerstock are excited to collaborate with one of NI's leading build contractors based in Co. Londonderry. Their scope of projects range from Commercial, Education, Residential and Healthcare sectors. This firm have grown significantly in recent years and are now looking to expand their commercial team through the addition of an experienced Estimator to support on project delivery throughout the UK and Ireland.

Your new role as an Estimator

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for preparation of cost estimates, analysing tender packages & documentation, ensuring tender bids are submitted accurately and on time, maximising profit and customer satisfaction as well as attending client meetings when required. Build professional relationships with clients and supply chain relationships.

What you will need to succeed as an Estimator

• Hold a relevant construction related degree (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of cost management within the construction industry
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Hold a Full Driving licence
• Ability to read CAD drawings
• Knowledge of Estimating software
• Proficient in Microsoft Packages i.e. Outlook, Exel and Word.

Desirable (Don't worry if you don't have these just yet):

• Experience in using CostX for tendering & take offs
• Knowledge of BIM software
