Estimator | FM

Vickerstock are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's most reputable facility management company based in Co. Derry. Established over 40 years ago, they continue to grow and secure both Public and Private sector contracts across NI and ROI, therefore they now require an experienced Estimator to add to their Commercial Team. Your new company have built an excellent reputation of delivering high quality projects across sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Education and Healthcare. They provide services such as Fit-out, M&E, Residential and Facility management. You will be working from their Castledawson office on a permanent basis, Mon to Fri 08:00am - 17:00pm.

Your New Role as an Estimator

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for preparation of cost estimates, analysing tender drawings & documentation, ensuring tender bids are submitted accurately and on time, maximising profit and customer satisfaction as well as attending client meetings when required. Build professional relationships with clients and supply chain relationships.

What you need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years' experience within a similar role with experience working on public sector social housing schemes or refurbishment projects. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Strong communication, commercial awareness and negotiating skills are essential for this role. Additionally, you must be proficient in both Microsoft Excel & Word.

Desirable - (Don't worry if you don't have these)

• An HND/ Degree in a construction related discipline or other relevant qualification is desirable.
• Experience of NEC3/4 and MTC contracts within the public sector
