Key Responsibilities as an Operations Manager;

  • Provide strong commercial leadership and contribute to overall business strategy as part of the senior management team
  • Evaluate and analyse commercial initiatives to support informed decision-making
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve targets, improve efficiency, and lead strategic projects
  • Ensure efficient production delivery-on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Oversee production planning, resource management, and operational performance
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Lead, develop, and support managers and supervisors to create a high-performing, well-balanced team
  • Monitor and act on key KPIs, including output, scrap rates, downtime, and on-time delivery
  • Promote continuous improvement, team development, and employee engagement
  • Carry out additional duties as required

What you will need to succeed as an Operations Manager;

  • Third-level engineering qualification (or equivalent) with 7+ years' management experience in manufacturing
  • Proven experience partnering at senior leadership level
  • Strong track record in managing and developing technical teams
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Solid understanding of operational health and safety
