Contract Manager - Facilities Management

Our client are looking for a experienced Contracts Manager with a strong Facilities Management background. The business has been successfully operating for over 40 years and you will be contributing to high quality delivery of projects spanning multiple sectors, including Commercial and Industrial, Health and Education, Pharma.

Working within a supportive environment, you will be joining an office based team managing project values up to £5m across Northern Ireland and mainland UK.

The Role
Acting as Contracts Manager within the FM team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of project's contractual and budgetary requirements, within specified deadlines. You will be responsible for the procurement of relevant materials and sub-contractor services, and well as the wider project team and staff management.

This is a client-facing role, requiring regular in-person meetings and liaison between all stakeholders on project delivery matters.

This is a permanent role based in our client's HQ in Newtownabbey.

The hours of work are 8.00pm-5.00pm/Monday-Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays at 2pm.

What you will need

  • You will hold a full clean driving license to meet the responsibilities of the role.
  • Experience of working within a Facilities Management environment for 5 or more years.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
  • Stong IT skills and Health & Safety knowledge.
  • The ability to multitask with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
