Geotechnical Engineer | Dublin

Vickerstock are working alongside a leading, Irish design consultancy to support in the recruitment of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join an award-winning, ground engineering team. As one of the most recognisable names in the local market, this business has wide ranging expertise, delivering transportation, bridge, buildings and water related projects.

Your new role as a Geotechnical Engineer

You will work as part of the wider, multidisciplinary design team to support in delivering complex geotechnical design solutions across the full spectrum of ground engineering disciplines. Recent project work includes rock/soil slope stabilisation works, ground improvement schemes, observational monitoring of construction on peat, cofferdam piling and bridge foundations to name a few.

What you will need to succeed as a Geotechnical Engineer

• A degree in Civil Engineering or engineering geology (MSc or MEng preferred)
• 7-Years experience and Chartered with a relevant professional body
• Experience providing geotechnical inputs on major infrastructure (road / rail) or renewable energy projects
