Graduate Design Engineer / Junior Mechanical Design Engineer
£20-27K depending on experience

Full time Permanent role - Mon to Fri - daytime hours

Our client is an established, family owned, heavy engineering machinery business that design and manufacture large plant in-house and then commission it out on client sites. They have seen a steady growth of business over this past 5 years and have strategically invested in the company, equipment and its people over this period. They are very commercial and selective on the projects they take on, as quality and customer service comes top of their priorities as they focus on a natural, paced growth that is manageable without compromise.

The company offer a supportive environment and they will train and develop the successful candidate in a very rounded and involved Mechanical Project Design Engineering type of role. The position will work from concept with the client, right through design, development and manufacturing - you will even get exposure to the commissioning side as well as be involved in some of the events and shows - a true rounded skillset. In a smaller design team of just a few others, you will be involved in much more aspects that you would get exposure to in a large company.

Essential criteria for this Graduate Engineering role:

• A relevant 3rd level in an engineering related subject - a degree is preferred but not essential
• Although not essential, it would be ideal if you had some exposure to 3d Design
• Drive and determination to succeed and make a career within Design Engineering
• Strong communication skills
