Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing food manufacturing business on the appointment of a part-time Supply Chain Coordinator on a permanent basis. This an excellent chance for a graduate who is seeking more releveant work experience, or someone who would like to avail of part-time hours to fit in with their personal life.

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing raw material and component availability to meet production schedules. You will maintain accurate purchasing records, and supporting the supply chain team through efficient procurement and stock control practices.

In your new role:

• Ensure all orders are placed accurately based on agreed specifications and planograms.
• Liaise with Production and Planning to align purchasing activities with schedules.
• Ensure availability of key materials to avoid downtime.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain agreed stockholding figures.
• Support inventory accuracy through regular updates, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and communicate order schedules, price changes, and delivery updates.
• Update pricing information in procurement systems and communicate changes to relevant teams.
• Ensure consistency in pricing and adherence to procurement policies.
• Compliance & Quality Coordination - Ensure all stock ordered meets approved specifications.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and ensure accuracy of records

What you will need to succeed:

Essential

• A qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• Mnimum 1 years' experience in a similar procurement/purchasing environment.
• Competent Excel user

Desirable

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is highly desirable.
