Vickerstock are currently working with a rapidly growing Main Contractor based in Dublin. Originating as a subcontractor, the company has evolved into a leading player in the construction industry, marked by its commitment to safety, quality, and excellence. With a strong portfolio of projects, they are now seeking an experienced Group Safety Manager to lead and enhance their safety practices.

As a Group Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, subcontractors, and visitors across a diverse range of construction projects. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of safety, overseeing compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Our client are seeking an experienced Safety Manager, however will also be open to a Safety officer with management experience who has the determination to take the next step up in their career.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in a safety-related role, with a preference for prior construction industry experience.
• Familiarity with Irish health and safety regulations and standards.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus
