Vickerstock our working with an industry leading design and manufacturing firm based in Dundalk, an excellent opportunity to bring on a Health and Safety Officer to join a well-established safety team.

Your responsibilities in your new role:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work across all levels of the organization and in cross-functional team site wide.
• Ability to help contribute towards a safety culture and a build constructive working relations characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect.
• Knowledge and experience of ISO 14001.
• Ability to convince others to follow recommendations and advice to bring them into compliance with regulations, standards, or policies, preferably through voluntary compliance.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• NEBOSH general certificate.
• Working knowledge and experience of implementing and managing hazard identification and Risk Management Processes.
• Experience in Accident investigation and Case Management of claims made to the Personal Injuries Assessment Board.
