HR Administrator


Vickerstock are working alongside one of our leading clients based in Coleraine to recruit a HR Administrator to join their busy team.

HR Administrator will provide cover and support within the HR Department.

Working alongside the HR Manger to develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to support business needs.

The HR Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Complete new starter-set up on the company's relevant systems

  • Monitor attendance and holidays taken for weekly staff and provide regular updates to Line Managers as appropriate.

  • Input and update records on PAMS system

  • Assist with maintenance of training records including assisting with move to more digitalised system

  • Ensure recruitment records are completed following each appointment in preparation for completion of annual FEC return.

  • Assist with the overall recruitment process as required including assisting with advertising, shortlisting and interviewing.

  • Monitor absences on site and liaise with the Line Manager & Senior HR Advisor to ensure appropriate action is taken once triggers are met in line with company policy

  • Complete weekly analysis on hours to monitor hours worked and ensure compliance with best practice guidelines in line with the company's ethical policy.

  • Prepare weekly reports on lateness

  • Follow up with Line Managers on any outstanding Return to Work forms

The HR Administrator should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 1 years' experience in a payroll or HR administrator role

  • CIPD qualification or working towards the qualification

  • Experience working within a fast moving highly pressurised environment

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Strong attention to detail
