  • Carry out monthly HSE audits, tracking actions through to close-out
  • Ensure contractor activities on site meet required safety and environmental standards
  • Organise and lead HSE meetings, promoting engagement and shared responsibility
  • Provide guidance to managers and stakeholders on HSE legislation, environmental obligations, and best practice
  • Liaise with external bodies and regulators where required

What you will need to succeed:

  • Working knowledge of safety regulations in the UK and Ireland
  • Knowledge of auditing, risk assessments, and incident management
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and integrated management system auditing
  • IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
  • Flexibility to support operational needs where required
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

  • Degree in Health & Safety, Quality, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Other relevant Health & Safety certifications
