Vickerstock is excited to collaborate with our esteemed food manufacturing partner in Cookstown in the recruitment of a Maintenance Technician for their facility.

Renowned as a leading brand in the industry, our client is a trusted supplier to top retailers nationwide, serving a vast consumer base annually.

In this role you will work Monday to Friday on a rotating days and evenings pattern.

• Week 1 5.45am - 1.45pm Monday to Friday
• Week 2 1.45pm - 9.45pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities for this position:

• Executing Preventative Maintenance on site Machinery & Equipment following the PPM schedule.
• Contributing to the installation of Electrical & Mechanical systems throughout the facility.
• Promptly addressing and prioritizing breakdowns to align with Production needs, investigating faults, and implementing corrective measures.
• Maintaining meticulous records of Maintenance activities.
• Adhering strictly to environmental, health, and safety protocols and regulations.
• Fulfilling additional duties as required.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering qualification and/or completion of a Time-Served Apprenticeship.
• A minimum of 2 years' Maintenance experience in an FMCG setting.
• Proficiency with PPM programs.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a well-rounded technical acumen.
