Newly Qualified Accountant

Vickerstock are working with an award-winning employer based in Lisburn recruit for a Newly Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis.

Your new role as Newly Qualified Accountant

• Preparation of management accounts to Trial Balance including but not limited to:
• Posting Intercompany accounts
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll journals and reconciliation
• Fixed Asset Register Management
• Assisting in preparation of working day 5 reporting pack
• Preparation of cost analysis and ad hoc reports
• Monthly reconciliation of Group Intercompany Balances
• Preparation of monthly Customer Turnover Reports and rebates
• Reconciliation and submission of quarterly UK VAT Returns
• Assisting in preparation of payroll information
• Liaising with auditors and support with annual audit
• Ad Hoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed as a Newly Qualified Accountant

• Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards a professional qualification
• Technically strong accountant with strong analytical skills
• Hands-on and proactive approach
• Excellent excel and system experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A proven track record in a similar type of role.
• Practice or Industry trained accountants will be considered. Experience in industry or secondments is desirable but not essential.
