Operations Manager

Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience

Vickerstock are working in exclusive partnership with an innovative local manufacturing company for the recruitment of an Operations Manager. You will oversee all Operations across the site, including Production, Logistics and Engineering with five direct reports. The company have exciting growth plans in place with an aim of increasing Production by 40% over the next 3 years

Your new role as Operations Manager

• Day to day control of manufacturing operations and management of the operations team
• On time and in full delivery of customer orders.
• Process control and improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Work with sales and costing teams to introduce new products and customers
• Cost control - materials, direct labour, delivery costs, utilities.
• Procurement and introduction of new manufacturing equipment

What you'll need

• Strong track record of achievement in operations related roles in manufacturing business.
• A minimum of five years' experience at Operations Manager level or equivalent which must include leading an operations team.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing techniques and methods
• Cost management and responsibility for cost reduction initiatives
