Planning/Logistics Manager circa £40-45k plus performance bonus

Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's specialist food producers with the recruitment of a Planning/Logistics for their modern Dungannon based facility.

A typical day:

As the successful Planning/Logistics Manager you will work closely with the Production and Operations Manager to:

• Process and gather orders from the customer and process them through company internal ordering system
• Liaise with the supply chain manager to ensure raw materials are in place to produce
• Devising a weekly / monthly / daily production plan
• Liaise with production to ensure production plans are met and issuing alternative plans should issues arise
• Maintain and have responsibility for finished goods stock
• Organise transportation and hauliers for pickup of goods
• Organise depot slots for transportation
• Ensure relevant documentation for loads has been completed and despatched
• Liaise with NPD to ensure new products have been planned for and added to the production lines
• Manage customers and updating them on order status

What you will need to succeed:

• Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing/FMCG
• Stock management and planning experience
• Highly driven, diligent and keen to progress
• Proficient in micro-soft office particularly excel
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Desirable

• NVQ in Management/ Team Leading
• Food Hygiene /HACCP qualification

What we have to offer:

Salary: Excellent salary (negotiable depending on experience).

Hours: Monday to Friday 40hours per week - flexibility required during audits/busy periods
