Job description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global machinery manufacturing business on the appointment of a Procurement & Project Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Procurement & Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for procurement projects, focusing on dual/alternative sources, risk management, capacity increases and savings projects.

In your new role:

  • Coordinate cross-functional team meetings to ensure stakeholder alignment and timely execution of the project plan.
  • Develop and maintain the overall program schedule, action tracker, and risk register.
  • Prepare and communicate regular project status reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance logistics and supply chain master data, PFEP (Plan for Every Part), and inventory models/strategies.
  • Identify issues and challenges, apply basic root cause analysis, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage and assess changes in requirements, evaluating their impact on budget, timelines, and risk.
  • Proactively escalate concerns and risks that may lead to deviations from the project plan.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Related degree/qualification in Project Management, Supply Chain with experience in manufacturing/engineering industries.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain or project management
  • Proficient in MS office applications, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities against agreed timelines.
  • Experience in using SAP is advantageous
