Production Manager
Galway, Ireland
Fulltime/Permanent
Monday - Friday Day Shift (40 hours)
Salary paying up to €45,000 DOE

Vickerstock are working in partnership with our FMCG client who have a commitment to delivering high quality food products to customers across Ireland. With a rich history and a focus on quality, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join the team and contribute to continued success.

As a Production Manager you will be responsible for planning, leading, directing and monitoring all production and maintenance activities to maximize the use of the organizations resources to deliver finished goods to customer demand and meet established production specifications and schedules.

Key Duties

  • Supervise all facets of production facility performance to optimize efficiency and labour utilization
  • Creation and management of all production-related data
  • Consistently uphold compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards
  • Lead daily production meetings, convening with area supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality assurance team, and material supply teams.
  • Ensure all costs are monitored and controlled to ensure operation within budgets
  • Oversee attendance, punctuality, annual leave.
  • Conduct employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance management
  • Address employee concerns and manage disciplinary matters in collaboration with the Factory Manager and HR department.
  • Any other duties as required.


In return you will receive

  • Salary paying up to €45,000 depending on experience.
