Production Manager

Salary £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global leader in the manufacturing of heavy metal systems with an excellent reputation for staff retention and developing employees. We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join this expending team. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the production department.

Your new role

• Lead and drive a team of production supervisor and team leaders, identifying areas of development.
• Manage the production department ensuring KPI's and targets are achieved.
• Manage the team performance setting yearly targets.
• Control costs keeping in line with the budget.
• Ensure customer quality standard are always met.
• Identify areas of process improvement and implement initiatives.
• Identify training requirements within your team.
• Ensure full Health, safety and Environmental compliance.

What you'll need

• 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Planning and scheduling experience within the manufacturing industry
• A strong understanding of Lean manufacturing processes
• Experience using ERP systems
