Vickerstock are working in partnership an established local manufacturing company for the appointment of an experienced Production Manager. You will lead people and processes, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the production department.

Your new role

• Manage and lead the Assembly employees.
• Maintain employees Performance Management System
• Provide direction, motivation, support and guidance to the team.
• Identify any training requirements.
• Manage the assembly of products, to be delivered on time and within set budget.
• Schedule operations and staff to meet company production targets, as defined by the build, whilst ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency
• Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and report on productivity, utilise data monitoring metrics, time recording systems to maintain maximum productivity.
• Lead Daily Production Meetings with team to drive safety, culture & behaviours, continuous improvement and productivity standards.

What you'll need

• 5 years' experience in a production management role
• Good understand of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Technical and working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems.
