Vickerstock are working in partnership with an industry leading manufacturing firm in Portadown on the appointment of an ambitious Production Planner.

Reporting directly to the Supply Planning Manager you will be responsible for planning to ensure the smooth day to day running of production and to ensure all components are produced on time.

In your new role:

• Develop a production schedule for a wide range of materials
• Interrogate the MRP system to determine production requirements
• Frequently liaise with customers, suppliers and the production management teams to ensure production plans are delivered efficiently
• Prepare reports in relation to production processes for the management teams, continually focusing on continuous improvements and recommending ways to improve
• Liaise directly with the relevant team members highlighting any potential issues in relation to supply

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and all Microsoft Office packages

Desirable (It would be great if you have this but don't worry if you don't)

• Experience using SAP
