Production Supervisor

4-day week Monday to Thursday (Days)

£32,000 to £35,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a bespoke manufacturer for the recruitment of a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading your team of operatives ensuring KPI's are achieved

Your new role

• Management of all production activities within the department
• Lead and support your team across all operations.
• Ensure quality control standards are adhered to at all times.
• Carry out plant checks, reporting any H&S issues.
• Use lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure stock levels and spare parts are maintained.
• Ensure production schedules are adhered to and any issues identified.
• Plan maintenance, and co-ordinate machine down time and machine repairs.
• Monitoring of employee performance including attendance, timekeeping and holiday management.

What you'll need

• 3 years' experience in a similar production supervisor role.
• Excellent knowledge of H&S
• Experience of working to ISO standards
• Experience of People Management including engagement, communications, absence, and performance management
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
