Production Supervisor | Craigavon | £26-32k

Vickerstock are working alongside a long established and progressive Food Manufacturing business, focused on delivering best in class standards and performance, with the appointment of a Production Supervisor for their impressive Craigavon based facility

What your typical day will look like:

As a key member of the production team, the successful Production Supervisor will take responsibility for delivering best in class manufacturing performance to include unit cost quality, waste, service and compliance.

  • Pre-production checks for both health & safety and hygiene

  • Ensure production line is correctly set-up before commencing

  • Ensure staff are correctly attired in PPE

  • Communicate production targets and key quality points for each product via a 'Team Huddle'

  • Ensure products are produced in accordance with product specifications and photographic standards

  • Maintain a tidy and clutter-free work area

  • Ensure staff comply with company rules re good housekeeping and product handling

  • Record production data for each shift (throughput, staff information etc)

  • Ensure all products are handled and stored at correct temperatures & correctly labelled and fully traceable

  • Ensure the company's rules and standards are fully enforced including correct tidy-up post-shift

  • Completion of staff timesheets

What you will need to secure your new role:

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant food manufacturing experience.

  • Proven experience of leading and managing a team within a target-driven environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate to a range of internal and external stakeholders

Desirable

  • Food hygiene training

  • HACCP training

  • COSHH training

  • Health & Safety training

  • Bi-lingual English + either Bulgarian, Russian, Polish
