Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading international specialist engineering and construction company, in their search for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their site-based team in Dundalk.

Your new role as Quantity Surveyor

In your new role, you will drive successful Commercial Service Delivery and Corporate Development, providing assistance to the Managing QS, and supporting on all commercial issues within the Project/s. You will be responsible for carrying out QS duties in line with agreed time frames, service levels and contract terms to ensure that work orders are met. Helping to maximise the cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production & improvement plans. You will support business growth by identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.

What you will need to succeed as a Quantity Surveyor

  • HND/Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience within a similar Commercial role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (NEC) and Standard Methods of Measurement
  • Registered with RICS / ICES and working towards chartership.
