Your new role as Quantity Surveyor

In your new role, you will be responsible to the Commercial Director with exposure to new and existing projects. With occasional travel expected to Mainland UK, you will utilise your experience to carry out full tender analysis and comparisons through to preparing recommendation reports. You will drive an efficient and compliant process, preparing activity schedules, BoQ, presentation of tender and contract documentations and attending interviews.

You will lead in allocating work to sub-contractors, as well as assessing applications, making recommendations, providing payment certification, agreement of variations and final accounts. Using excellent communication skills, you will liaise with external and internal stakeholders to enable the projects to progress without delay.

What you will need to succeed as a Quantity Surveyor

• HND/Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience within a Build environment.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
