Senior Electrical Engineer | Dublin

Vickerstock are working alongside a leading, Irish design consultancy to support in the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Engineer. This is a newly created, strategically important role within the business. The purpose of the role is to lead the delivery of engineering design services across their increasing portfolio of clients within the Irish Energy market, with projects in the solar, hydrogen and wind (both onshore and offshore) sectors.

Your new role as a Senior Electrical Engineer

You will work alongside the senior management team to lead the company's expansion into the energy sector. You will deliver whole-life design for HV generation and transmission projects up to the connection point to the existing transmission grid.

What you will need to succeed as a Senior Electrical Engineer

• Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
• 7+ years working within the electrical engineering sector
• Proven experience in the design and construction of HV/MV substations
• Experience in utility grid contestable design and delivery of connections at 38kV and above
• Experience undertaking energy rating calculations for high voltage cables
