Senior Maintenance Technician

Monday - Friday, Morning, Day & Evening Hours (1 Saturday every 4 weeks)

Vickerstock are proud to partner with a leading European food supplier in their search for a full-time, permanent Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team in Co. Kildare.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors & Maintenance Manager you will play a key part in the team by being an advanced technician. Supporting the maintenance technicians and apprentices in maintaining equipment uptime and lead by example and support company policy and procedures to create a well-coordinated and efficient working environment.

Supporting the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors you will

• Respond to breakdowns and provide support to technicians where necessary
• Assist Supervisors, Managers in monitoring machine reliability
• Identify & execute machine / line improvement projects
• Liaise with production on line improvement projects.
• Assist with commissioning of new machinery
• Assist with training of technicians & operators
• Assist with evaluation of existing PM's & modify where necessary
• On call support & attend site if necessary.

Experience required:

• Trade qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical
• Strong multi skilled experience
• Senior Maintenance experience within manufacturing
• Ability in fault finding and downtime issue resolutio
• Strong Machine knowledge

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 1 Saturday every 4 weeks

• Morning start up shift 5.30am - 2pm (shift premium)
• Day shift 8am - 4.30pm, 1 Saturday every 4 weeks required
• Evening shift 3.30pm - 12am (shift premium, on call Monday - Sunday)
