With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. You will be undertaking the role of Senior Project Manager, working on a civil and build project worth £150 million, based in Glasgow.

Your new role as Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager, you will become a valued member of the construction team and you will use your own experience and expertise to give advice to others in order to deliver the project efficiently and effectively. It is your responsibility to lead the subcontractor procurement process. You must ensure that all project correspondence and contractual notices have been wrote and sent to all relevant parties. You are also in charge of carrying out commercial reviews in relation to budgetary aspects of the project. In this role, you are responsible for attending subcontractor pre-start meetings, handover meetings and project start-up meetings. It is your duty to ensure all site management and operative teams are sufficiently trained and identify any training where needed. You will also be undertaking the role of Temporary Works Coordinator.

What you will need to succeed as Senior Project Manager

  • Good construction experience working in a similar role of similar level
  • Experience working on civil and build projects
  • Experience in managing subcontractors in line with health and safety and environmental legislation (First Aid at Work)
  • Construction related degree
