Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's market leading, clients to recruit an experienced Shipping Clerk to join their established team in Greater Belfast.
Your new role as a Shipping Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating the shipping process with Customs Agents to ensure clearance on deliveries overseas.
Proactively track any shipments and keep you clients updated with any progress on their orders and their whereabouts.
Completion of import and export documentation and will calculate shipping fees for each shipment. Liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including customs agents, warehouse staff and shipping companies to ensure a seamless logistics process.
What you'll need to succeed as a Shipping Coordinator
Experience working with air, ocean and road transport
High attention to detail and strong admin skills
Experience of monitoring shipments from point of receipt through to delivery
Experience of working in a shipping & transport environment - e.g., Logistics Coordinator, Shipping Clerk, Import & Export Coordinator
