As a Specifications Technician you will be responsible for generating and maintaining accurate finished product specifications for all products and manage the specification process.
Key Duties

• Set up customer specifications, generating and submitting pack copy to meet customer and legal requirements.
• Coordinate technical signing off of all new products including product testing through to completion.
• Manage artwork processes including reviewing and ensuring all back of pack information is accurate and in line with the technical labelling policies.
• Support product development process and work closely with teams to understand technical capabilities and practicalities.
• Undertake due diligence and product compliance with customer technical policies, current labelling standards and all regulatory changes that will impact back of pack information.
• Complete nutritional and technical benchmarking where required.

You must have

• Must have a Food Science/relevant degree.
• Experience working with specifications.
• High attention to detail, methodical and well organised and uses own initiative.
• Ideally experience working with retailers.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and salary in return will be negotiable depending on experience (more information at application stage).
