Vickerstock are working in partnership with a multiple award winning, manufacturing firm based in Lisburn on the appointment of a Stores Lead.
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager you will lead the stores team ensuring the efficient management of materials, inventory and supplies within the production facility.
In your new role:
Leading the team providing guidance and expertise ensuring the team is prepared and motivated for the day ahead
Ensure a consistent high level of performance at all times
Ensure the smooth supply of materials, resources, and products to meet production requirements
Maintaining stock supplies for future planning and accurate stock records on the system
Frequently liaise with the scheduling department to ensure the smooth day to day running of operations
Generate reports on inventory levels, usage and discrepancies
Implement efficient storage solutions to maximise space ensuring easy access to materials
Frequently attend meetings with various departments providing updates
What you will need to succeed:
A minimum of 4 years experience working in a busy store within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
A minimum of 1 year experience leading a team
Experience in using ERP/MRP systems
Valid forklift licence
