Technical Sales Engineer
Antrim

Vickerstock are working in partnership with leading distributor of industrial engineering components, Power Transmission Products and Automation Solutions, to recruit for a Technical Sales Engineer to cover Northern Ireland but reporting into the Antrim branch.

The external Sales Engineer, will manage, assist and grow an existing customer base.

£35k - £60k (depending on experience) Sales Commission, Bonus and Company Vehicle included.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5:30pm

Your new role as a Technical Sales Engineer will include:

• Support a territory of customers, primarily in the North of Ireland.
• Maintain positive business relationships with an existing customer base.

• Provide solutions to customer technical requests.
• Promotion of new technical products and services.
• Actively seek out new business leads and prospects.
• Introduce customers to our web shop to purchase day-to-day products.
• Submit customer activity interactions through company reporting mechanism
• Knowledge on any of Bearings, Motors, Gearboxes, Inverters, Chain Drives, Belt Drives, Lubrication or Pneumatics an advantage

What you'll need to succeed as a Technical Sales Engineer:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a technical sales role within an engineering environment/manufacturing.
• A proven track record in sales
• Knowledge on any of Bearings, Motors, Gearboxes, Inverters, Chain Drives, Belt Drives, Lubrication or Pneumatics an advantage
• Positive, outgoing personality and an ability to connect with people.
• Full clean driver's licence.
