Are you an experienced Transport professional ready to make your next career move? Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading logistics and distribution business who are seeking a hands-on Transport Supervisor to support the smooth running of daily operations and ensure a best-in-class service for their customers.

As the Transport Supervisor, you will support the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day actively participate in all aspects of warehouse operations from manual handling, order picking, unloading deliveries, truck loading, to printing customer invoices.

Other duties will include:

• Plan, manage, and allocate daily workloads to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Manage a team of nine drivers and 3PLs for deliveries to and out of site.
• Monitor goods-in and goods-out processes through the TMS, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and high service standards.
• Oversee picking and checking activities to ensure all branch and customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Contribute to the training, development, and engagement of warehouse and transport staff.
• Collaborate closely with the wider site management team to achieve operational goals.
• Champion and enforce company Health & Safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within transport, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
