Job description

As Transport Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring goods flow smoothly in and out of the warehouse while leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support warehouse operations, including manual handling, order picking, unloading deliveries, loading vehicles, and printing customer invoices.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and step in to supervise the team during their absence.
  • Plan and allocate daily workloads to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee intake and out load processes, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail at every stage.
  • Supervise picking and checking activities to guarantee orders are fulfilled correctly and on time for both branch and customer deliveries.
  • Support the training, development, and engagement of warehouse and transport team members.
  • Work closely with the wider site management team to maintain operational excellence.
  • Champion and enforce company Health & Safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant working

What you will need:

  • CPC in Transport Management (Advantageous)
  • 2 years' experience in previous similar role
  • Experience working with TMS / WMS systems
  • Experience on Transport modelling mapping systems.
