Assistant Accountant - Lisburn

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with one of our leading clients to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Lisburn

Your new role as an Assistant Accountant :

• Preparation of monthly accounts, including, journals, control account reconciliations etc.
• Bank reconciliations
• Sales Analysis preparation
• Cashflow forecasting
• Weekly and monthly Management Reports
• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
• Management and submission of applicable HMRC and other statutory returns

What you will need to succeed as an Assistant Accountant :

• Minimum of 2 years previous accounts & bookkeeping experience
• Qualified Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) would be desirable
• Excellent IT skills - especially Excel
• A high degree of commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
