In your new role:

• Report directly to the Material Planning Team Lead
• Work closely with commodity managers & category buyers to ensure the smooth running of supply chain
• Have the ability to interact with and build relationships with suppliers
• Hold regular review meetings with suppliers
• Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Organise and schedule parts and materials from a global supply chain
• Communicate planning schedules with key assigned suppliers in line with agreed procedures
• Expedite purchased parts as and when required to support production requirements
• Liaise with quality department on any issues with materials received
• Manage goods sent out for rework through agreed company process
• Maintain daily and weekly KPI's (key performance indictors) against assigned suppliers and MRP system
• Continually monitor supplier performance ensure high standards expected are met at all times
