Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Your new company has been operating for over 70 years in Belfast and have developed an excellent reputation of delivering prestigious projects across the Healthcare, Education & Commercial sectors. This has resulted in consistent contract awards for the company, with a strong pipeline of work, they now require a strong Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Your New Role as a Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the commercial manager, you will be responsible for analysis of technical electrical drawings, negotiation, site measure, review of contract documents, procurement, agreement of variations and final account submissions. Liaise with contract managers, PM's and site engineers, prepare monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets identifying any variances and additional works to ensure successful, efficient project delivery within agreed deadline and budget.

What you need to succeed

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience within a similar role on projects to the value of £1 Million pounds.
• Commercially & contractually aware with a good working knowledge of construction.
• Experience in NEC3/4 contracts
• Strong communication and negotiating skills are essential for this role.
