Finance Assistant

£25,000 - £27,000 (based on experience) plus profit share bonus

Vickerstock are currently working alongside an award winning manufacturing company, they currently have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the team to provide support to the Finance Manager in strengthening and automating accounting processes and enhancing IT and HR systems.

Your new role as a Finance Assistant;

• Processing sales, purchase, expense invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Allocating VAT and nominal codes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Updating fixed asset register
• Month end accruals
• Processing payments
• Processing journals
• Monitoring and upkeep of financial systems (including banking)

What you will need to succeed;

• Bookkeeping or accounting qualification (eg, AAT level 2 or above)
• Previous experience of working with a company that operates an ERP system
• Previous experience in credit control
• Experience of multi-currency operations and transactions
• Familiar with VAT returns, EC Sales and Intrastat returns, Trader Support System (TSS)
• Experience with using a ERP system (Like Odoo, Netsuite etc)
• Experience developing or enhancing company processes through use of IT and AI
• Fluent English speaker, both written and verbally
