Vickerstock are delighted to be working exclusively with our renowned Food Manufacturing/FMCG client on the appointment of Food Production Operator for their state-of-the-art facility based in Carrickfergus.

As the successful candidate you will be joining a business known throughout Northern Ireland for their products and how well they look after their staff.

• 4 day week/flexible across Monday - Friday; core hours 8am to 4pm

What your typical day will look like:

• Work across multiple functions as part of a small dynamic team.

• Efficiently and effectively produce a variety of award-winning products to a high standard, where quality and attention to detail is paramount.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for food safety and health & safety within areas of work incl. end of shift clean down

• Prep and weigh out ingredients.

• Set up and operate machinery; ensure parts are cleaned and maintained free from damage

• Package finished products according to company standards.

Your essential ingredients:

• Experience operating within a factory environment.

• Good standard of numeracy + literacy skills

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Exemplary time keeping and attendance record.
