Head of Marketing

Northern Ireland

We are currently assisting a global leader in the engineering sector with the appointment of a Head of Marketing. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of their marketing strategy, from brand to demand, from insight to execution. You'll lead a high-performing team of creatives, analysts, storytellers, and digital pioneers to deliver campaigns that don't just generate leads, they generate momentum.

Your influence will stretch across every region and every sector they serve. You'll work hand-in-hand with business development, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure marketing is not a support function, but a strategic engine of growth. You'll bring clarity to complexity and energy to execution, strengthening our commitment to building customers for life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global marketing strategy, ensuring it is bold, insight-driven, and aligned with commercial ambitions across all sectors and regions.

  • Champion the clients brand, owning its evolution, consistency, and resonance across every touchpoint, from digital platforms to global events and customer experience

  • Drive demand generation, working closely with business development and regional teams to deliver high-quality leads, accelerate pipeline velocity, and support strategic account growth.

  • Lead the planning and execution of flagship campaigns and high-impact initiatives that position the client as a global thought leader.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing global marketing team that fosters creativity, accountability, and continuous learning, while encouraging innovation through piloting new approaches

  • Establish clear KPIs and performance frameworks, using data to inform decisions, optimise spend, and demonstrate marketing's contribution to revenue and reputation.

  • Lead the development of content and communications strategies that elevate our market voice across all channels, while also driving internal communications and employer branding initiatives

  • Lead strategic partnerships with media, influencers, and industry bodies, amplifying our message and opening new channels for engagement

  • Represent marketing at leadership level, contributing to company-wide strategy and ensuring our purpose is embedded in everything we do

About You

  • Hold a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, and possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing leadership - including at least 2 years at a senior level within a global B2B environment

  • Have experience in the engineering, construction, or environmental sectors.

  • Have delivered high profile campaigns and events, including global exhibitions and thought leadership platforms, with demonstrable outcomes in brand positioning and lead generation.

  • Are confident representing marketing at leadership level, contributing to company-wide strategy and influencing cross functional decision making.

  • Are commercially minded, with a proven track record of aligning marketing strategy to business development goals and contributing directly to revenue growth.

  • Have led multi-disciplinary marketing teams, including brand, digital, content, communications, and demand generation- delivering measurable impact across global markets.

  • Are fluent in a second language and have experience working in cross-cultural teams.

  • Have led go-to-market initiatives at scale.
